Spanish Teacher, Denver Location

The Language School is seeking Spanish teacher to  teach the language and culture in Denver. We have an immediate opening for approximately 1-5 hours/week with the potential to grow into a full time position.

The ideal candidate should have a passion for education and sharing the Spanish language and culture with people looking to travel and enhance their careers. This person must be dynamic and flexible, able to work with business professionals, and people from all walks of life.

Special consideration will be given for candidates that have great experience teaching or bring other talents to the organization, including customer service, sales, marketing, graphic design, translation, or interpretation.

The compensation will be competitive and based on skills.

The candidate we seek must be professional and versatile, and able to work within the following roles and responsibilities:

  • Able to create curriculum for private and group classes
  • English – Spanish Translation and Interpretation
  • Knowledgeable of Latin American, European, and American Business Practices
  • Tutoring students that are currently enrolled in Spanish classes
  • Teaching private Spanish classes, leveraging the Spanish Easy and Fun Curriculum.
  • Teaching Group Spanish classes to up to 9 students at a time.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish, linguistics, teaching, or related fields
  • Native Spanish Speaker
  • Experience teaching Spanish

English Teacher, Denver Location

The Language School is seeking an English teacher to help teach the language and culture in Denver. We have an immediate opening for approximately 3-6 hours/week with the potential to grow into a full time position.

The ideal candidate should have a passion for education and sharing the English language and culture with people looking to travel and enhance their careers. This person must be dynamic and flexible, able to work with business professionals, and people from all walks of life.

Admissions Counselor, Denver Location

The Language School is seeking a part time Admissions Counselor for 5-10 hours a week.  Responsibilities include coordination and support of invitational programs, as well as communication with Latino and American communities.  Admissions recruitment, counseling, and outreach are all significant functions of this position.  This position reports to the Director of The Language School.

Distinguishing Characteristics:

The Admissions Counselor will represent The Language School to prospective students, parents, partners, and other individuals or organizations in the Montbello/Aurora community.  He or she will plan and implement recruitment activities.  The ideal candidate must be bilingual in Spanish and English.

One-on-one admissions counseling to diverse populations is an important responsibility of this position.  Admissions counseling occurs primarily by in-person appointments, phone calls and emails.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree with at least one year of admissions counseling and outreach experience, or equivalent.

This position requires the ability to travel to remote locations and to load and transport admissions materials, displays and other equipment. Some evening and weekend hours will be required, especially during peak enrollment periods.  Strong cross-cultural interpersonal and writing skills in both Spanish and English are necessary, including public speaking skills.

Marketing and Sales Intern, Denver Location

The Language School is looking for a business management/marketing Intern. The Marketing Internship will give the right candidate an exciting opportunity to participate in a variety of business related tasks, including marketing, sales, customer service, business management, and human resources.
We are looking for incredibly talented candidates that are passionate about education and bridging cultures together.
Bilingual candidates will be given special attention. There may be potential to grow into a full time position. The compensation will be competitive and based on skills.
